Supporting Wilmington’s Small Businesses
Booking a food truck for your Riverfront shoot or Tatnall Street soundstage does more than keep your crew fed—it funnels dollars straight back into Wilmington’s small-business community. Every truck we dispatch is owned and operated by First State families, from a married couple slinging crab cake sliders they perfected in Little Italy to a UD alum turning Kennett Square mushrooms into vegan tacos. Your production’s meal break becomes their livelihood.
Food trucks are also an eco-smart choice for studio catering in Wilmington, DE. With engines off during service, high-efficiency griddles, and compostable containers that meet Delaware’s new foam ban, our vendors draw less power than a base-camp generator and leave almost zero waste behind on set. Fewer trash runs mean more takes before you lose the light.
So the next time “studio food truck catering Wilmington DE” shows up on your call sheet—or you catch yourself Googling “low-budget film catering near me”—tap Best Food Trucks. We’ll line up a fleet that feeds your crew, strengthens the local economy, and keeps your production as green as Brandywine Park in spring.

This was my first time looking into getting a food truck on site to feed our employees. You guys made it very easy and so did Paul, with Doc E's BBQ! The food was delicious and everyone I talked to say the same! The portions were perfect and was a very easy process. I had the pulled pork with slaw on top for my first plate and then later on Paul gave us a pan of ribs that were phenomenal!

Ashley was awesome! She checked in days beforehand to coordinate proper timing and setup, and she endured the extreme heat to provide great food and friendly service for four hours. People really enjoyed the tacos and nacho selections. Outstanding addition to our house party!

The pulled pork sandwich, and the baked beans were very good. I had potato salad, too, but it tasted like a bit too much vinegar. I like creamy potato salad and creamy cold slaw. I will eat from the truck, again.
