Hot, Customizable Meals for Baton Rouge Studios — Served Right on Set
From Perkins Rowe to the soundstages off Airline Highway, Baton Rouge has quietly become Hollywood South. Best Food Trucks keeps those cameras rolling by delivering on-time, studio catering that the Capital City’s cast and crew rave about. We bring in the Red Stick’s favorite mobile kitchens — think sizzling Aztecas Taco Truck tacos, smoke-kissed brisket from Cou-Yon's BBQ, and soulful plates from Tre's Street Kitchen. Your team can even grab gooey birria from Birria & Barbacoa de Chivo Los Compadre's or Southern comfort classics at Southern Style Bistreaux without ever leaving the lot.
We’ll collaborate with your production manager to build rotating daily menus that keep crews happy during dawn shoots on River Road or late-night call times near LSU. Our local scouts pinpoint the best parking and service spots, streamline online ordering and walk-up pickup, and verify that every vendor carries City-Parish permits and insurance.
Budget matters. That’s why we supply a clear cost breakdown, so no one has to guess whether craft services will spill over the day’s production budget. Plus, food truck catering shrinks food and packaging waste—a win for the wetlands we all cherish.
Let Best Food Trucks handle mealtime for your Baton Rouge studio. We keep bellies full, production moving, and you focused on getting the perfect shot.
Fueling Baton Rouge’s Small-Business Scene
Booking a food truck for your Baton Rouge studio set does more than feed hungry crews—it keeps film dollars circulating right here in the Capital City. Nearly every truck that pulls up to Celtic Studios or those indie shoots in Mid City is a family-run operation, owned by neighbors who live in Zachary, Denham Springs, or right off Highland Road. When you order scratch-made jambalaya, Gulf shrimp po’boys, or house-smoked boudin from a truck, you’re putting paychecks into the pockets of local entrepreneurs, not some far-off conglomerate.
Food trucks are also a greener pick for on-set catering. Because kitchens are self-contained, they sip less power than a full craft-services tent, and most Baton Rouge vendors have already switched to propane griddles and compostable servingware to keep our bayous cleaner. Less food waste, fewer generators humming on the back lot—that’s a sustainability win the wetlands can appreciate.
So the next time you type “Baton Rouge studio food truck catering” or “low-budget film catering near me” into your location scout’s spreadsheet, give Best Food Trucks a shout. We’ll match you with a locally owned rig that makes mealtime fun, affordable, and socially responsible—all without breaking the production budget.

I was told that the $6 garlic fries I paid extra for were on the one box. I find it hard to believe that was extra fries. Seems like it would be an extra box(extra side)

Food was amazing. Chef Yarwood clearly knows what he is doing. The steak tips with mushrooms and onions as well as the Mac and cheese were truly delicious. I will definitely be ordering again in the future.

Good pizza! I love the crust and the garlic is over the top! Suggestion: allow me to add sausage and extra basil to the base white pizza without adding red sauce.😉

I found the cheese pizza to be salty and the margherita pizza needed more tomato sauce. The cauliflower crust was good as was the balsamic vinaigrette.
