About TABASSUM
Tabassum American Comfort Food Truck in Seattle
The Tabassum Food Truck is serving up smiles and Samsa Hand Pies. In a region tucked between the Caspian Sea, China and Russia you'll find a street food called Samsa with roots all the way back to the Silk Road. Samsa are flaky bundles of puff pastry filled with different meats and vegetables. One of Central Asia's most popular comfort foods, Samsa hand pies are both filling and affordable too. We are so grateful for your support and business since we first rolled out our halal food truck in January of 2017. Tabassum is also here for your Seattle Catering needs. Our delicious Samsa will bring many smiles to your gathering!

Absolutely tasty! Only feedback would be that the plov is described as being topped with meat and mine had only one real piece with two other specks. I don't eat a lot of beef and this is fine for me, but I know others, such as the people in my office who were examining my dish, can measure the quality of a dish based upon the amount of protein it contains. Especially if advertised as seeming to have a significant amount included.

Pastry on pies is a little messy with the bottom being soggy. But it's tasty and beet salad is lovely
