My Okie Heart Pizza

My Okie Heart Pizza was founded by two veteran families: Michael and Susan White and Brandi and Will Ross.  

The name “My Okie Heart” was inspired by Michael and Susan’s decision to plant roots in Oklahoma — Michael’s home state — after his retirement from the U.S. Army. It reflects their love for family, community, and the feeling of coming home to the heart of Oklahoma. For them, “My Okie Heart” isn’t just a name — it’s a tribute to where their story continues and the people who make Oklahoma feel like home.  

Brandi and Will, both Oklahoma natives that settled in the Oklahoma City area following Will's retirement from the Air Force, added inspiration from their time in a small Italian town, where the local pizzeria wasn’t just a place to eat — it was where neighbors gathered.   

Combining our experiences with years of military service and teaching, we set out to create a place in the Oklahoma City community that brings people together in the same way.
