Food Trucks in Fort Wayne

Best Food Trucks in Fort Wayne

Fort Wayne sits along three rivers on the northeast side of Indiana. This area originated as a small Army outpost but it is now the state's second most populated area. The city's roots are in manufacturing, notable items like the gasoline pump and the refrigerator were invented here. It continues to have a major military presence as a group of US defense contractors and the Air National Guard Station reside here. Fort Wayne has become a travel destination as well primarily for its Children's Zoo, Museum of Art and the Embassy Theatre, which was opened in 1928. This movie palace seats nearly 2,500 patrons and is now utilized by the Fort Wayne Philharmonic Orchestra and touring artists. Annual events like the Japanese Cherry Blossom Festival and BBQ RibFest are big draws as well. These events also bring out the city's nearby food truck vendors. Fort Wayne has no shortage of them, and you are guaranteed to find something you love out there. Some of our faves are the Street Chef truck serving some of the best Italian sandwiches and sausages in town, and Wicked Good Cupcakes Fort Wayne offering up unique handcrafted cupcakes that are so good you'll have to order a few. The fries were cooked well and love the seasoning, I just prefer thinner fries. I also think it would be better if the bun was toasted. Otherwise great meal.

The lo mein was phenomenal, the noodles soaked up the sauce perfectly. I will say though that it was a little too sweet but I'd definitely get it again next time you're here!

Burgers are always delicious, lettuce and tomato always fresh and fries never greasy. We also love the toasted buns. It especially helps with the gluten-free buns. Without toasting, they tend to fall apart.
