Hot, Customizable Meals for Your Tucson Studio Set!
When the cameras start rolling in the Old Pueblo, you can’t afford a delayed meal break. Best Food Trucks has spent years feeding film crews beneath the Tucson sun—from historic Old Tucson Studios to indie shoots near the base of Mount Lemmon. We’ll design rotating daily menus that keep talent and crew energized, help you pick the perfect on-lot parking spots, streamline ordering and pickup, and vet every vendor for City of Tucson permits and insurance. You’ll also get a clear cost analysis that fits your production budget and reduces food and packaging waste in our beautiful Sonoran Desert.
Craving carne asada tacos that rival a Fourth Avenue favorite? Book Taco'Queta. Need something unique to perk up a night shoot? Gigi's Mexican Peruvian Fusion can roll in with lomo saltado and ceviche. For crowd-pleasing burritos on a sunrise call time, Mex-Sal trucks have you covered, while Los Poblanitos cuisine brings authentic Sonoran flavors everyone will recognize. And when the director yells “That’s a wrap,” celebrate with warm churro-stuffed donuts from Donut Blitz.
Let Best Food Trucks handle every detail of your studio food truck catering in Tucson, so you can stay focused on making movie magic—no worrying about hungry crews or missed meal penalties.
Supporting Tucson’s Small Businesses—One Food Truck at a Time
Booking a food truck for your studio shoot isn’t just the tastiest solution for meal breaks—it’s a direct investment in Tucson’s tight-knit community of makers and doers. Most of the trucks that pull up next to your grip truck are run by families who grew up cheering on the Wildcats, watching sunsets at Gates Pass, and perfecting recipes handed down from grandparents in Barrio Viejo. Every carne asada taco or Sonoran hot dog you order keeps dollars circulating right here in the Old Pueblo and helps local entrepreneurs thrive between monsoon seasons.
Film crews love that food-truck service is naturally eco-smart too. With onboard kitchens that sip less power than a traditional buffet line and compostable packaging that won’t litter the desert, your production can shrink its footprint beneath those towering saguaros. So the next time you Google “Tucson studio food truck catering near me,” let Best Food Trucks connect you with a fleet of locally owned rigs that feed your cast, boost the economy, and keep our Sonoran landscape pristine.

This was my first time looking into getting a food truck on site to feed our employees. You guys made it very easy and so did Paul, with Doc E's BBQ! The food was delicious and everyone I talked to say the same! The portions were perfect and was a very easy process. I had the pulled pork with slaw on top for my first plate and then later on Paul gave us a pan of ribs that were phenomenal!

Food was very good. Portion sizes were huge! Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Ran into some quality issues near the end. Cheesesteaks coming out burned. Maybe the grill was too hot or dirty? One allergy request not followed. Overall a good experience. I would recommend having condiments available. Would hire again!!

Online ordering says burger has tomato and pepper jack cheese. No tomatoes and American cheese. Asked for BBQ sauce with an item and didn't receive. Plastic forks, knives would be nice but good food at good price

Food was tasty and on time, and I would eat again. It just didn't wow me as something new and exciting.
