Hot, Customizable Meals for Your Norfolk Studio—Ready When the Director Says “Break!”
From sound stages tucked away in the Neon District to on-location shoots along the Elizabeth River, Best Food Trucks brings fast, reliable food truck catering for studio crews in Norfolk. We understand that every minute counts on set, so our local logistics team works hand-in-hand with your production manager to create rotating daily menus, map optimal parking on Granby Street or at Harbor Park, and coordinate staggered pickup windows that keep the crew moving.
Norfolk is known for its eclectic tastes, and our curated truck lineup proves it. Craving Tidewater barbecue? Cast Iron Catering Co plates up smoky pulled pork that rivals any backyard cookout in Larchmont. Need a gooey pick-me-up between takes? Chesapeake Concessions crafts artisanal grilled cheese worthy of the Chrysler Museum. Burger lovers can sink their teeth into coastal classics from Bill's Burgers, while island vibes roll in with the Caribbean flavors of La Cocina D Tula. When it’s time to cool off under those studio lights, the Hungarian-style scoops at KOCKAGOMBÓC always draw a crowd.
We vet every vendor for City of Norfolk permits and insurance, track real-time orders through our digital queue, and deliver a post-shoot cost analysis that keeps your budget anchored like the USS Wisconsin. Plus, food trucks generate far less packaging waste than traditional craft services—great for the crew and even better for the Chesapeake Bay. Let Best Food Trucks handle your Norfolk studio food truck catering so you can focus on hitting that perfect shot.
Fueling Norfolk’s Economy—One Food Truck at a Time
Booking food truck catering for your Norfolk studio doesn’t just keep cast and crew fed—it keeps Hampton Roads dollars right here at home. Every truck that rolls onto your set in Ghent, Freemason, or the Botanical Garden backlot is a family-run or solo-owner operation. That means the money you spend on those shrimp po’ boys or vegan crab-cake sliders heads straight back into Tidewater neighborhoods, not off to a distant corporate headquarters.
Choosing a truck over traditional craft services is also a smart, eco-friendly play. Modern trucks run high-efficiency equipment and cook -to -order, slashing energy use and cutting down the mountain of single-use pans that usually piles up behind the scenes. Fewer generators humming, fewer trash bags headed across the Midtown Tunnel—good for the budget and even better for the Chesapeake Bay.
So the next time your production assistant Googles “low-budget film catering near me,” tell them to hit up Best Food Trucks. You’ll get crowd-pleasing menus, a greener footprint, and the satisfaction of lifting up Norfolk’s small-business community—roll credits on a perfect meal.

I was told that the $6 garlic fries I paid extra for were on the one box. I find it hard to believe that was extra fries. Seems like it would be an extra box(extra side)

Food was amazing. Chef Yarwood clearly knows what he is doing. The steak tips with mushrooms and onions as well as the Mac and cheese were truly delicious. I will definitely be ordering again in the future.

Good pizza! I love the crust and the garlic is over the top! Suggestion: allow me to add sausage and extra basil to the base white pizza without adding red sauce.😉

I found the cheese pizza to be salty and the margherita pizza needed more tomato sauce. The cauliflower crust was good as was the balsamic vinaigrette.
