Hot, Customizable Meals Ready When You Call “Cut!” in Columbia
From the indie shoots in Five Points to big productions taking over Main Street, Best Food Trucks is Columbia’s trusted partner for studio food truck catering. Our team has spent years feeding cast and crew across the Midlands, so we know how to keep everyone fueled and back on set fast. Whether you’re filming beside the Congaree River or at one of the sound stages near the University of South Carolina, we deliver fresh, on-time meals that even the pickiest gaffer or grip will rave about.
We handle every detail—designing rotating daily menus, scouting the perfect parking spot, streamlining online ordering and pickup, and vetting each vendor for city permits and insurance. You’ll receive a clear cost breakdown that fits your production budget, plus the peace of mind that comes with eco-friendly service and minimal food waste.
Columbia’s favorite food trucks are ready to roll up to your studio gate:
- Carolina Cookin' serves up Lowcountry classics like soft-shell crab and stone-ground grits—Southern comfort perfect for a long day of takes.
- Mardi Gras Tyme brings Cajun heat with Creole jambalaya and red beans & rice that’ll transport your crew straight to the Big Easy.
- The Haute Dog Lady crafts loaded dogs and American comfort staples that satisfy carnivores and vegetarians alike.
- Luna's Grill spices things up with Latin favorites—think street-style tacos and fresh-pressed tortas.
- Ken's Famous Italian Ice keeps everyone cool between takes with Columbia’s most refreshing shaved ice.

Fueling Your Film and Columbia’s Small Businesses
Every time you book Best Food Trucks for studio catering in Columbia, you do more than feed a hungry crew—you put real dollars back into the Midlands economy. Most of the trucks we dispatch are family-owned rigs that you’ve probably seen parked at Soda City Market on Main, tailgating at Williams-Brice, or serving late-night bites in the Vista. Choosing them for your on-set meals keeps those home-grown businesses rolling and strengthens the city’s creative scene right alongside your production.
Food trucks are also a greener choice for studio catering. Compared with traditional buffet setups, our vendors burn less energy, cook to order to slash food waste, and use compostable serviceware approved by Richland County’s recycling program. So when your location scout is Googling “eco-friendly film catering near me” or “Columbia studio food trucks,” you’ll know exactly who to call.
Support local, stay on budget, and keep your crew happy—click “Get Catering” to bring Columbia’s best food trucks to your next shoot.

I was told that the $6 garlic fries I paid extra for were on the one box. I find it hard to believe that was extra fries. Seems like it would be an extra box(extra side)

Food was amazing. Chef Yarwood clearly knows what he is doing. The steak tips with mushrooms and onions as well as the Mac and cheese were truly delicious. I will definitely be ordering again in the future.

Good pizza! I love the crust and the garlic is over the top! Suggestion: allow me to add sausage and extra basil to the base white pizza without adding red sauce.😉

I found the cheese pizza to be salty and the margherita pizza needed more tomato sauce. The cauliflower crust was good as was the balsamic vinaigrette.
