Hot, Customizable Meals for Your Buffalo Studio Set
From “A Quiet Place 2” shooting along Main Street to indie crews braving lake-effect snow on the Outer Harbor, Buffalo’s film scene is booming—and hungry. Best Food Trucks specializes in food truck catering for studio productions in Buffalo, NY, keeping cast and crew fueled without ever leaving the lot. We know how tight resets can be, so our mobile kitchens roll in, serve fast, and roll out before the next slate.
Our team partners with your production office to build rotating daily menus, schedule service around call sheets, and stage trucks wherever the gaffer says light is best—whether that’s on a soundstage in North Buffalo or a location shoot in the Old First Ward. We handle all the red tape, vetting every vendor for Erie County permits and insurance, then deliver a clear cost breakdown that stays on budget. Less waste, fewer plastic clamshells, and zero cold pizza: that’s the Best Food Trucks promise.
Need proof? Picture lunch hour with Buffalo favorites:
- Tiny Thai—Pad Thai loaded with tamarind tang and Chandler Street cred.
- Weidner BBQ—Eden-smoked half-chickens that put backyard craft services to shame.
- Edgy Vegy BFLO—plant-powered Philly subs the vegan grip crew will rave about.
- Dirty Bird Chicken N' Waffles LLC—crispy bird over maple-bourbon waffles for that mid-shoot comfort fix.
- Mother Cluckers Grill—fire-kissed peri-peri sandwiches hotter than a July day at Canalside.
Let Best Food Trucks handle your studio catering in Buffalo so you can focus on getting the perfect shot—while we get the perfect bite ready, right on cue.
Fuel Your Shoot & Buffalo’s Economy
Every time you bring in food truck catering for a studio in Buffalo, you’re doing more than filling stomachs—you’re keeping Queen City dollars circulating right here in the 716. The trucks we schedule are all owner-operated small businesses: an East Side jerk-chicken rig, a South Buffalo pierogi trailer, an Elmwood Village smoothie bus. These families hire local line cooks, buy rolls from Costanzo’s, and source produce straight from the Broadway Market, so your production feeds the crew and the community in one bite.
Mobile kitchens also tread lighter on the planet. Most of our vendors plug into clean Niagara hydro instead of running loud generators, and they swap single-use plastic for compostable or recyclable serviceware. Compared to a traditional buffet that ships in pans, Sterno, and piles of packaging, food trucks slash waste and energy use—good for Lake Erie and your sustainability memo alike.
Searching “low budget film catering near me” at 2 a.m. between overnight takes? Call Best Food Trucks. We’ll roll up with studio-friendly, eco-smart food truck catering for your Buffalo set, keep you on schedule, and give cast and crew a taste of real Buffalove—with a side of economic impact.

The food, service, and support were incredible. They were so good that we wanted to add another day of rental for the next day at our production, but they were already booked. Will definitely work with them again.

Big hit and great workers. The burgers were delicious but they didn't come with fries. Somehow we missed that not being included. It's just always expected - burger and fries. :)

The $11 Onion Rings had me questioning everything, but the burger was good. 👍 I wanted onion rings, but my mama would've came down from Heaven and smacked me in the head for paying that. The Cowboy burger had 2 onion rings on it and didn't raise the price by $5.....
