Supporting Albany’s Indie Food Scene—One Truck at a Time
Booking food truck catering for your Albany studio does more than keep cast and crew satisfied—it funnels your production dollars straight back into the Capital Region. Nearly every truck we partner with is a family-run operation based in neighborhoods you know—think Arbor Hill, Pine Hills, and across the river in Troy. When your set orders a round of breakfast sandwiches or late-night poutine, you’re helping those small businesses pay rent on their commissary kitchens, hire local staff, and keep Albany’s culinary scene vibrant.
Choosing a food truck is also the eco-smart move. New York’s plastic-foam ban and Albany County’s composting initiatives mean our vendors already serve in recyclable or compostable packaging, cutting landfill waste on location near the Times Union Center or up in Colonie. Trucks burn a fraction of the energy that traditional catering tents require, so your carbon footprint stays as tight as your shooting schedule.
Ready to combine great eats, green practices, and real community impact? The next time you Google “low-budget film catering near me” or “Albany studio food trucks”, call Best Food Trucks. We’ll line up local favorites that make mealtime socially responsible—and a lot more fun.

It was the best gluten-free pizza I've had since New York City and the chocolate Dubai dessert was amazing. I hope they come to Starkey ranch again soon!!

Once home, we discovered that we weren't given the broth that was to accompany the Birrias or the sauce and limes that were to accompany the tacos. Disappointing...

The brisket was a little dry. Still good but I did use more bbq sauce than I usually do on a sandwich.
