Customers are always reaching out to food trucks, asking them to attend events, daily lunches, and neighborhood dinners. However, it’s often difficult to predict how well-attended these events will be. Fortunately, BFT offers a fantastic tool to help encourage guests to pre-order.
Our minimum pre-order requirement tool allows you to create a shift with a sales target. Vendors can then share the pre-order link with the customer, who can monitor the progress of sales in real-time. If sales are low or fail to meet the minimum requirement within 48 hours of the event, the food truck has the option to decline attendance.
The progress meter adds a sense of urgency for customers, as those who have already ordered can encourage others to place their orders early. This system gives food truck owners the confidence of knowing they have orders in hand, while providing customers a way to book a food truck without needing a guaranteed minimum turnout.

Too use this tool, go to the Best Food Trucks app and select, "Schedule Custom Shift." When creating the shift be sure to select "Minimum Guarantee (optional)." A box will pop up for the amount. Put in your required pre-order amount and click "schedule shift." Once the shift is scheduled you'll see the link you can share with the client.
